The Milton Keynes Meditation Association invites you to attend a day of Meditation Practice on Saturday October 11th from 10am to 4pm at Simpson Village Hall.
On this day we will highlight the two meditation practices we do within Triratna – the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (development of loving kindness). Some experience would be helpful but beginners are welcome and instruction will be provided.
Meditation is all about opening our hearts and minds, moving from reactive states into creative, positive ones that contribute to our well-being and also to the well-being of those around us and ultimately the world. For those people who already know the practices this day will help you go deeper with your meditation and for newcomers it can give you a real taste of what meditation has to offer.
Please bring a shared vegetarian or vegan lunch.
If you would like to attend you will need to message us to book your place. Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
The Milton Keynes Meditation Association meets under the auspices of the Triratna Buddhist Order. We hold meditation classes every Tuesday at 7pm and we have Buddhism classes on Wednesdays at 7pm, both at Simpson Village hall. All are welcome. See our Facebook page for details.
