The text, by a Tibetan teacher, is a condensed form of Santideva&#8217;s Bodhicaryavatara, or Guide to the Bodhisattva&#8217;s Way of Life. A Bodhisattva is a being on the path to Enlightenment who practices awareness within a vision of growing and developing not just for his\/her own sake but for everyone&#8217;s sake. The 37 verses asks us in down-to-earth terms to look at the conditions in our lives, our mental states and our views which may need transforming in a positive direction to being us closer to this inspiring vision.<\/p>\n<p>Quaker Meeting House,1 Oakley Gardens, Milton Keynes MK15 9BH.
