Despite Covid-19 The Peterborough Buddhist Group is OPEN and would love to welcome you along!
We are part of the Triratna Buddhist Community.
We meet every Monday from 7pm – 9pm (currently online, via Zoom, but when the situation eases, back at The Quaker Meeting House, right by Peterborough Registry Office on Thorpe Road). There is no charge, but we ask for a donation, based on what you can afford (usually £7) but we prefer people to come along regardless of whether they can afford that donation. Currently we’re asking people to donate to Cambridge Buddhist Centre (CBC) because we have little/no outgoings at the moment, the CBC support us greatly and they are now in need. So we’d love to support them anyway we can.
A typical evening involves guided meditation, Buddhist teachings and mutual support of a caring and friendly group of people.
Meditation and Buddhist wisdom is always relevant in our world, but is perhaps more vital than ever during these especially strange times. If you’re interested in seeing what our evenings are like, please contact one of the following members of The Peterborough Buddhist Team and we can have a chat:

You can also find us on Facebook (Peterborough Meditation – Triratna) and MeetUp (Peterborough Meditation Meetup).
In the meantime you may want to get a flavour of the two main meditations we practice. If so you can visit https://www.cambridgebuddhistcentre.com/home and navigate down to ‘Meditation’ where you can join in live Zoom classes. There are lots of options to choose from.
With loving kindness, The Peterborough Buddhist Group
